A few months ago, I presented the concept of the identity to my favorite client and during the discussion I received an interesting question: You always show us external media on the most beautiful New York billboards, and then we can’t find anything similar in Moscow or St. Petersburg. At that moment, I realized that in Russia we don’t have any marketplace for realistic mockups, so it’s high time to combine my 3 favorite activities: traveling, photography and digital product development and make a unique collection of the most beautiful mockups from different parts of Russia with reference to architecture, so that designers and agencies could present the identity of Russian brands in a more authentic and reliable context.
The visual metaphor of the identity is based on transforming rectangular shapes, giving a reference to the variety of advertising media formats, and the dynamic composition repeats the mechanism of fast-forwarding banners inside the advertising structure. This technique is supported throughout the site: in the logo, animated backgrounds inside sections, transitions between pages and navigation hovers.
There are currently 27 Moscow mockups on the marketplace, but I will get to other cities very soon.
